I never thought I would have much to say about an orthopaedic surgeon, but then again, I never expected my tendon to give me a reason to meet one!

From my very first consultation, I have been impressed by Dr Arpit Dave’s professionalism, thoroughness and genuine concern for his patients. He has that wonderful combination which is sometimes difficult to find in the medical world: expertise without arrogance, confidence without haste, and professionalism with a very human touch.

Dr Arpit listens patiently, explains things clearly, and, above all, makes you feel that you are a person under his care rather than simply the next case on the list.

He has a knack for keeping his patients in good spirits, even when their tendons and bones are in a bad mood.

If patience were visible on an X-ray or MRI, Dr Arpit’s would probably be impossible to miss.

There is also something wonderfully appropriate about his name. “Arpit” means to dedicate or offer oneself to a noble cause, symbolising selflessness and devotion. From my experience as his patient, he certainly lives up to his name.

His staff deserve equal appreciation. They are professional, courteous, helpful and welcoming, and contribute greatly to the sense that one is in capable and caring hands.

I am truly grateful to Dr Arpit Dave and his team and would recommend him wholeheartedly.

Perhaps the best compliment one can give an orthopaedic surgeon is to say, with the greatest affection, that you hope you never have to see him professionally again!
